Flower bed to the west of the Visitors Center

By the time I got to the Temple on April 18th to take the pictures, most of the winter plants had been pulled up, except for these. Our winter flowers are your summer flowers. In the summer, they plant flowers that can withstand the hot summers. They aren't nearly as colorful as the winter flowers, but pretty in their own right. I didn't take any pictures of summer flowers because they have just been planted and are very small. Not much to look at right now. I think they leave the winter flowers in this bed, on the west side of the Visitors Center, all summer. Most of them do fine. I suppose that's because they only get half a day of the sun.
